Thank you for supporting us

Age Concern Otago operates in an environment of increasing demand as New Zealand’s population ages.

Age Concern Otago's main funding is from membership and community grants, therefore we rely on donations to enable us to provide information, services, support, and programmes to more than 10,000 older Otago residents per year.

Your donation will give lasting help to people from Otago in need. You can immediately support the work we do for Otago's older people by donating now.

Leave a Gift in your Will

Leaving a bequest to Age Concern Otago will directly help older people enjoy a full life for more than your lifetime.

If you chose to remember Age Concern Otago with a gift in your Will and advise us of your kind action, to honor you we will plant a native tree in your name. This will be your living legacy of love.

Your tree will be planted either on your notification to us of leaving a gift or on activation of your will. Your family and friends will be notified of its location.

How to leave a gift in your will:

When making a life gift (bequest or legacy), you need to contact the lawyer or trustee responsible for your will. Below are ways that your Will or family trust can be changed to include a living gift.

  • Making a new Will which includes a provision for Age Concern Otago.

  • Adjusting your Will to make a provision to Age Concern Otago through adding a codicil (a legal document that acts as a supplement to your Will).

  • Altering your family trust to include Age Concern Otago as a beneficiary.

We all hope to leave the world a little better than when we found it. A gift of 1% of your estate can make an enormous difference to the lives of so many older members of our community.
