SeniorTech: - Open Day offers seniors the opportunity to learn about digital literacy, tech tools, online banking and safety - find out how to use technology to your advantage & be better-connected!

Drop-in anytime between 10am-3pm, find out how to use technology to your advantage and be better-connected! 

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Meet with bank representatives - BNZ, ANZ, Westpac and KiwiBank - for online banking registration and advice.

• Receive one-on-one help to assist with downloading (banking) apps and answering questions about their devices.

• Discover digital literacy tutoring available Attend an Online Safety presentation (morning or afternoon), fun and informative sessions on how to stay safe online.

• Engage in fun technology demonstrations.

• Refreshments available.

The effects caused by Covid-19 highlighted the need for seniors to become more online savvy. Coupled with changes to financial banking access and the withdrawal of cheques by major NZ Banks, many older New Zealanders now need to build confidence with banking online.
